Know what you are choosing. Materials, dimensions, features and care requirements vary by model, so the individual product page and supplied instructions are the starting point.
What is the difference between TPE and silicone?
These are different materials, and their softness, elasticity and durability also depend on formulation and construction. The material name alone does not establish feel, safety, quality or cleaning requirements.
- TPE: often soft and elastic. Follow the specified cleaning, complete drying and storage guidance. Some formulations require particular surface care.
- Silicone: available in different formulations and firmness levels. It is not necessarily firmer than TPE, and not every silicone product is suitable for high-temperature disinfection.
Check the material listed for the exact product and variant. Do not assume that every Dr.YUU item uses the same material or has the same heat resistance.
Which specifications should I compare?
- External dimensions, internal dimensions where provided, weight and construction.
- The selected variant, included accessories and whether a storage case or charging cable is supplied.
- For powered designs: controls, charging or power requirements and the stated functions.
- For heated designs: the model-specific temperature and operating instructions.
- Which components are washable and the precise waterproof rating or limitations, where stated.
Illustrations, packaging artwork and lifestyle images do not replace measurements or operating instructions. If an important specification is missing or unclear, ask us before ordering rather than assuming it from a similar model.
Does every product have the same testing or certification?
No general certification claim should be inferred from this guide or a homepage illustration. Where a model has test reports or certification documents, the document must identify that product and the scope it covers. Contact support to request the available material, testing or conformity information for the model you are considering.
Is surface oiliness or stickiness normal?
Some TPE formulations may develop surface oiliness depending on use or storage. Not every change should be treated as normal. Check the care instructions, clean permitted parts, dry completely and use only recommended care products. There is no universal schedule for applying powder.
If oiliness is excessive or persistent, or you notice unusual stickiness, strong unpleasant odour, cracks or deterioration, stop using the item and contact support. Do not try to repair damaged material with household chemicals or continue using a faulty product.
What should I do if an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect?
Contact service-uk@dryuu.com with the order number, product and variant, a description of the problem, and clear photographs where useful. Keep packaging and supplied accessories while we review the issue. Your rights for faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods are not removed by hygiene-related change-of-mind exclusions.
